Why I Want To Be Your City Council Member

In the past few months as I prepare to launch my campaign, I have discussed the decision to run with friends, family, neighbors, and numerous members of our community. This is the question I am asked the most. This is why:

First,  our roads consistently rank near the bottom for pedestrian and automotive fatalities. This needs to be addressed.

Second, from the unhoused, to the single-parent households, to the middle-class families trying to improve their lives, rising housing costs are a drag on the health and well-being of our community and we must find new and creative ways to curb their ascent.

I see an opportunity. I see the need for a a more focused, all-encompassing approach to Tucson’s gravest issues. I have the legal background and the personal experience needed to capture that opportunity and push our city to be safer for our pedestrians, safer for our drivers, and therefore safer for our families.
